FAQ

Is there a product catalog available for acetic acid claws?

We have a lot of different styles, and they all use different materials and crafts.

Also, different order quantities make a big difference in price. Because of this, we don't have a fixed price list.

If you want to know the price, just send us the photos of the styles you like, along with the size, quantity, and your custom requirements.

Once we see what you need, we will give you a quick and accurate quote right away. This way, you don't have to worry about any wrong or mismatched prices!

86
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a direct source factory. We have our own production workshops, equipment, and technical team. From raw material procurement, manufacturing, and quality inspection to packaging and shipment, the entire process is completed internally by us.

Compared to trading companies, as a factory we can offer our customers:
More competitive factory-direct prices

More stable and controllable product quality

 More flexible OEM/ODM customization services

Faster production response and delivery control

At the same time, we also have a mature foreign trade team familiar with international markets and export processes, capable of efficiently connecting with overseas B2B customers to ensure smooth communication and reliable delivery.

If needed, we support video factory inspections or third-party inspections, and we welcome customers to verify our factory's capabilities at any time.

Are clamp springs prone to loosening?
High-quality clamps use thickened metal springs, which are not easy to loosen even after repeated opening and closing.
88
Can I provide my own design drawings?
Yes, definitely. Send us whatever you've got — AI, PSD, PDF, even a rough sketch sometimes works if it's clear enough.
Once we get the file, our design team looks it over first. Not every design translates well into an actual product right away. Sometimes the line is too thin to mold properly, or the color separation doesn't work with the material we're using. If something like that comes up, we'll flag it and reach out before moving forward — not after we've already made a sample.
We'll usually suggest a fix or two. Maybe thickening a detail line, adjusting a curve so it molds cleaner, or tweaking colors slightly so they hold up better after production.
If the design's straightforward, we skip most of this back-and-forth and just confirm a few details with you before starting. Either way, you'll see a proof or mockup before full production begins — we don't move ahead without your okay first.

What logo and customization techniques are available for acetate hair claws?

A few options, depending on the look you're going for.
UV printing is the most straightforward — full color, precise, works well for detailed logos or brand marks. If you want something more tactile, engraving cuts the logo directly into the acetate surface. You can leave it as-is for a subtle effect, or fill it with color (engraving painting) to make it pop. There's also epoxy coating, which adds a glossy raised layer over the design — popular for that "premium" feel.
For something more dimensional, 3D stereoscopic design creates a raised, sculptural logo effect on the surface. It's eye-catching but takes longer to produce.

What about decorative add-ons beyond the logo?

Quite a few. Common ones:

Pearl or diamond inlay — set directly into the acetate
Steel bead inlay — more industrial/minimal look
Gold-plated round beads — classic, works well on darker acetate
3D patch diamond inlay — diamonds on a raised patch, then set onto the claw
You can also combine them, like steel beads + diamonds + gold paint fill in the same piece

Do acetate side clips pinch painfully?

Short answer: no, not really. That's actually one of the reasons people switch to acetate in the first place.

Unlike a lot of cheap plastic clips, acetate doesn't rely on a harsh, snapping spring to stay shut. The material itself has a bit of give to it, so the clip closes with steady pressure instead of a sharp bite. You feel it holding your hair, not pinching your scalp.

Most people barely notice they're wearing one after the first few minutes. The clip just sits there, doing its job, no constant awareness of pressure or tugging.

Compare that to old-school metal-spring clips or stiff plastic ones — those are the ones that actually hurt, especially if they snag a few strands wrong. Acetate clips skip that problem almost entirely because the spring mechanism is built to be smooth, not aggressive.

Grab a reasonable section of hair, let the clip close naturally, and it should feel secure — not sore. That's really the whole point of acetate: all the hold, none of the ouch.

91
What hairstyles are side clips suitable for?
They are suitable for bangs、 layered hair、side hair、and half-up styles、making them very practical for everyday use.
92
Are acetate hair clips effective? Do they hold hair securely?

Yes, but only the well-made ones. The spring is what really decides this — a thicker, sturdier spring grips tighter and holds that grip way longer. Cheap thin springs lose tension fast.

Teeth spacing matters too. Too wide apart, and fine hair just slides right through. Too tight, and thick hair won't close all the way.

Size matters more than people think. Grab a clip too small for thick hair, and it'll pop open within an hour. Too big for thin hair, and it slides out before lunch. Match the clip size to how much hair you've actually got.

Nail those two things — good spring tension, right size — and the clip holds all day. No mid-meeting slips, no constant fixing.

93
What age is a hair clip suitable for?

Not at all. Hair clips don’t care about age.

It really comes down to the design. If you want something for the office or a casual dinner, our minimalist acetate clips are sleek and sophisticated. They look great on grown-ups.

If you are into street style or festival outfits, the bolder, more fashionable shapes are perfect for younger crowds.

We also have playful mini clips that look adorable on toddlers and kids.

Bottom line: if it holds your hair and makes you feel good, it's the right clip for you.

94
Do the decorations (rhinestones, pearls) on acetate hair clips fall off easily?

No, they shouldn't—with normal wear, it absolutely will not fall off.

We attach rhinestones, pearls, and other decorations securely to each acetate hair clip. With normal use, they should stay in place. Only frequent drops or strong impacts may cause them to loosen over time.

Since these clips are produced in our own factory, we maintain extremely strict standards regarding both material selection and quality control. Every single hair clip undergoes a manual inspection prior to shipment, so you can have complete confidence in the quality.

95
Do your products come in a variety of colors?

Honestly, what you see on our website is just the beginning.

While we have plenty of ready-to-go styles, custom work is our main thing. We have access to thousands of acetate patterns, rich textures, and colorways. If you have a specific design drawing, a sketch, or even just a mood board, send it over. We can bring your exact vision to life.

You pick the shape, you pick the color texture, and we make it happen.

96
What kind of packaging do you usually use for your products?

We usually pack our hair accessories in OPP bags.

This is a simple and common packaging choice.
It helps keep the products clean during storage and shipping. It also works well for wholesale orders.

If you need different packaging, we can also support customization.

For example, you can choose custom cards, logo packaging, gift boxes, barcode labels, or other retail packaging styles. It depends on your sales channel and brand needs.

If you already have a packaging design, you can send it to us for checking.
If you are not sure what type of packaging to use, you can also contact us by email. We can help you choose a suitable option.
