FAQ
145
Can short hair wear headbands?

Yeah, totally. People assume headbands are only for long hair, but that's not really true.

Short hair actually has an advantage here — a headband can show off the shape of a bob or pixie cut in a way longer hair sometimes hides. It also keeps shorter strands from falling into your face, which is honestly half the reason people reach for one in the first place.

Thinner headbands tend to sit better on shorter hair. Wider ones work too, just depends on the look you're going for. Either way, it's worth trying a few styles before deciding it's "not for you" — a lot of people are surprised once they actually put one on.

146
Will headbands always be popular?
Yes!
Headbands are truly a classic accessory—remarkably versatile and timeless—that has never truly gone out of fashion.
Even today, you can still see a constant stream of creative new designs emerging, setting the trends of the moment.
The fashion world is ever-changing, with fresh novelties appearing all the time. We have noticed that many headbands with a vintage flair are making a strong comeback, winning the hearts of countless customers.
Whether you prefer a simple, everyday look or are drawn to bold, eye-catching statement pieces, you can almost certainly find a headband style that perfectly suits your mood and the occasion.
147
I have thin hair/fine hair—will it look bad?
Not at all. Updos and hair accessories can help compensate for thin hair through styling techniques
(such as using accessories or hairpins that add some volume, or creating a fluffy effect).
This can actually create a sense of fullness and make the hairstyle look natural.
148
How to style hair accessories for updos, and who or what occasions are they suitable for?
Suitable for all hair lengths and types—whether long, short, straight, or curly, for braiding or updos, it can be styled and worn.
It’s also versatile for many occasions: commuting, work, dates, parties, formal events, or everyday outings, it can be useful almost anytime.

How long does it take to customize acetic acid clamps?
Sampling takes 5–8 days, and mass production usually takes 25–30 days.
151
Can I customize my own color or logo?

Yes, for sure. Pattern-wise you've got choices — marble, tortoiseshell, plus a full range of solid colors. Pick whatever fits your line.

Logo's doable too. We can do laser engraving, gold stamping, or just print it on. Each one gives a pretty different look, so it really depends on the vibe you're after.

Got your own design or specs in mind? Just send them over. We'll work off what you give us and match it as closely as we can.

152
What is the most hair-friendly way to tie your hair?
Use loose, low-tension hairstyles. Wide claw clips and soft hair ties are very effective. Avoid pulling tightly.
Remove clips when sleeping and keep your hair moisturized.
Frequently change your hairstyle and avoid tying up wet hair to reduce breakage.
153
Will it pull or break the hair? Will the clip leave deep marks?

Short answer: No. We hand-polish every single tooth on these clips. Because they are made of premium acetate, the edges are super smooth, not sharp like cheap plastic. They slide right out without snagging or snapping your hair.

Will you see a tiny crease? Sometimes, yes—that is just physics. If you want to avoid it completely, try not to clamp the clip too tight, or just go one size up to spread the pressure. Giving your hair a quick brush before clipping also helps a lot.

154
Will acetate hair clamps loosen over time?
Made from smooth acetate material and stable springs, they open and close quietly without loosening,
unlike cheap plastic ones that make a 'clicking' sound.
155
Does it have a smell? Is it environmentally friendly?

Yes, it usually has no strong smell.

Good-quality cellulose acetate is basically odorless in normal use. You might notice a very light “raw material” smell when you first open the package, but it disappears quickly once it’s aired out.

As for the material itself, acetate is made from plant-based fibers like cotton pulp. It’s considered more eco-friendly compared to regular petroleum-based plastic. It’s not perfect or fully biodegradable, but it’s definitely a cleaner option in the plastic family.

We also do basic third-party testing for safety and material compliance. That includes checks for chemical safety and production standards.

156
Can it be used for fine hair, thick hair, or very dense hair?

Yes, you just need to pick the right size for your hair.

For Thick Hair

Go for our larger claws. Look for ones with a strong spring and longer teeth. They can actually hold a lot of hair securely all day without slipping or pulling.

For Fine or Thin Hair

Smaller claws are your best bet. They grip tighter without weighing your hair down. They’re also perfect for half-up styles or cute twists.

Not sure?

If you’re stuck in the middle, start with a medium size. It’s the safest bet and works for most people.
