Can I customize the color, shape, and size?

Yes—we strongly recommend ordering samples before placing a bulk order. Acetate products can look and feel different in person, especially in terms of color, thickness, finish, and clip tension.

A custom sample made from your own design usually takes about two weeks, depending on its complexity. Since most of our products are made to order, we keep only limited stock. If a suitable style is available, we can ship the sample sooner.

Sample fees are kept to a minimum and cover only materials and shipping. For qualifying bulk orders, the sample fee can usually be credited toward the final order.

Please note that lighting, photography, and screen settings may cause slight color differences. If color accuracy is important to your brand, approving a physical sample is essential.

For repeat orders with no changes, you may proceed directly to bulk production. For new designs or first-time orders, we recommend confirming a sample first.

We're mainly a custom-order shop, so we don't keep a ton of stock sitting around.

For in-stock clips, MOQ is 50 pieces. Nothing fancy, just what we already have made up.

For custom designs, it depends on what you're asking for. Usually it's 100 pieces, but honestly it varies a bit depending on the design itself — some styles need more setup than others.

We can make different kinds of custom hair claws, depending on your style and market.

Most customers choose acetate hair claws, acrylic hair claws, resin hair claws, letter hair claws, pearl hair claws, or rhinestone hair claws. Some styles are very simple, just solid colors or tortoise shell patterns. Some are more decorative, with initials, logos, metal pieces, pearls, or small shiny details.

The size can also be changed. Small claws are usually used for half-up hair. Larger claws are better for thick hair, curly hair, messy buns, or quick daily hairstyles.

You can customize the color, shape, pattern, teeth, spring, logo, and packaging. If you already have a sample photo or idea, you can send it to us. We will check what material and process are suitable before making the sample.

Yes, we can. Engraving on acetate claw clips is actually one of the more common custom requests we get. Most brands want their logo somewhere subtle — usually on the inside of the clip, near the spring, so it doesn't take away from the color or pattern on the outside.

There are two ways we usually do this. Laser engraving is the go-to option. It burns a clean mark directly into the acetate, no ink involved, so it won't fade or rub off over time. Works great for simple logos, initials, or short text like a website URL. The other option is a small metal tag or charm attached near the hinge, which some brands prefer if they want their branding to stand out a bit more instead of blending in.

A few things worth knowing before you go this route:

Simple designs work best. Thin lines, basic shapes, single-color logos — these engrave cleanly. Anything with tiny fine details or gradients tends to lose clarity once it's lasered onto a curved acetate surface. If your logo has a lot going on, we usually suggest simplifying it just for the engraving version.

Placement matters more than people think. Engrave too close to the teeth and it can weaken that section over repeated use. We test placement on a sample first so it doesn't interfere with how the clip actually clamps hair.

MOQ can be lower than people expect. A lot of brands assume engraving means committing to thousands of units. Not always true. We can run engraved samples even in small test batches before you lock in a full production order, which is worth doing if it's your first time customizing this way.

One thing we always tell new clients: send us your logo file early, even before you've finalized the clip color. Vector files (AI, EPS, or high-res PNG with transparent background) engrave the cleanest. A blurry screenshot pulled off your website usually doesn't translate well once it's actually cut into acetate.

If you're not sure whether your design will engrave well, just ask for a sample first. It's a lot cheaper to fix a logo issue on one test piece than to find out after 500 units are already made.

Two-tone designs are also easily accommodated. For instance, we can use one color for the body of a hair clip and another for the teeth or edges. Because we incorporate this design during the sheet production stage, the finished product boasts a level of refinement and detail far superior to simply bonding two separate materials together.

Usually, each hair clip is bagged individually, though we can also package them in sets of two or three if you sell them as bundles.

Packaging methods can be tailored to your specific needs. Some clients require "header cards"—cardboard backings featuring a brand logo, barcode, and a hang hole—for retail shelf display. Conversely, for orders destined for online stores or wholesale channels where shelf display is not a priority, clients often opt for simple, open-ended plastic bags.

For premium presentation, we offer small kraft paper boxes or clear PVC boxes; these provide a more refined look, making them ideal for boutique orders or direct-to-consumer sales. We can also include foam inserts—often used for high-end claw clips—to enhance the unboxing experience.

Packaging for bulk orders is generally more streamlined: items are bagged individually and then placed into partitioned cartons to prevent the clips from scratching each other during shipping. Complex retail packaging is unnecessary if the goods are being shipped directly to a warehouse.

We also support custom packaging designs, such as boxes or bags printed with your brand name and logo. Please note that this requires a longer lead time due to the coordination involved with printing suppliers; additionally, custom-printed packaging typically carries minimum order quantity (MOQ) requirements, similar to the rules for custom colors.
