Xinmei Hairclip-Medium High Quality Acetate Hair Clip Manufacturer & Supplier Since 2002.
When customers ask us about bulk hair claw clips, the first question is usually price. That makes sense. Price matters for any wholesale order. But after working with many boutiques, online stores, salon suppliers, and accessory brands, we know one thing very clearly. A cheap claw clip is not always a good buy.
A claw clip looks simple. But it has many small details. The spring may be too loose. The teeth may feel sharp. The surface may look dull. The color may look different from the sample. These things do not always show in product photos. But customers will notice them when they hold the clip or wear it in real hair.
So if you plan to order in bulk, it is better to look beyond the unit price.
For wholesale buyers, a claw clip needs to do two things.
It needs to look good on display.
And it needs to work well after people buy it.
Some styles look beautiful in photos, but they do not hold hair well. Some clips have nice colors, but the material feels too light or cheap. Some springs feel strong at first, then become loose after a few uses.
This is why we always suggest checking samples before placing a large order.
Open and close the clip a few times. Feel the spring. Touch the edge. Check the teeth. Try it on thick hair and fine hair if you can. These small tests tell you more than a product picture.
For retail stores, return rates and customer reviews matter. A small quality problem can hurt repeat orders. A good clip, on the other hand, is easy to sell again. Many customers buy more than one color when they like the fit.
In our factory, the process starts from material selection.
For acetate claw clips, we choose acetate sheets first. Good acetate has a rich color and a smooth finish. It also works well for tortoise shell, marble, cream, amber, black, and mixed patterns. Each sheet may have a slightly different pattern. This is normal. It also makes acetate clips look more natural.
After that, we cut the material into the needed shape. Then we polish the clip body. This step takes time, but it is important. A well-polished clip feels smooth on the hand. It also looks more premium under light.
The teeth need attention too. If the teeth are too sharp, they may feel uncomfortable. If the curve is not right, the clip may slide down. The spring also needs the right tension. Too soft, and the clip cannot hold enough hair. Too tight, and customers may find it hard to use.
These are small factory details. But they decide whether the final product feels good or not.
There is no single “best” style for every market.
For boutiques, classic acetate styles usually work well. Tortoise shell, cream, brown, black, pearl, and marble colors are safe choices. They match many outfits. They also look more suitable for daily wear.
For younger customers, brighter colors may sell better. Pink, green, blue, purple, flower shapes, and cute designs can catch attention quickly. These styles work well for social media photos and seasonal collections.
For gift shops, letter claw clips, pearl claw clips, rhinestone clips, and small gift-ready sets are popular. Customers often buy them as small gifts for friends, sisters, bridesmaids, or holiday baskets.
Size is another thing to plan.
Large claw clips suit thick hair, curly hair, and full updos. Medium clips are good for daily use. Small clips work for half-up hairstyles, short hair, or kids’ hair accessories.
For a first bulk order, we do not suggest choosing only one size or one color. A mixed order is usually safer. It helps you see what your customers actually like.
Many buyers come to us because they do not want the same claw clips that everyone else sells.
Custom options can be simple or more detailed.
Simple customization may include custom colors, logo printing, hang cards, barcode labels, OPP bags, or gift boxes. These are common choices for boutiques and small brands.
More detailed customization may include a new mold, a special pattern, a unique shape, metal logo decoration, rhinestone letters, pearl details, or a full private label collection.
If you are new to custom claw clips, we suggest starting with existing molds. This keeps the cost lower and the lead time shorter. You can still make the product look like your brand by changing the color, logo, and packaging.
If your brand already has a clear design idea, then a custom mold can make sense. It takes more time, but it gives you a more unique product.
Before mass production, samples are important. A sample lets you check the real color, size, logo position, and hand feel. It is much better to adjust details at the sample stage than after production starts.
MOQ depends on the style and customization.
In-stock claw clips usually have a lower MOQ. They can ship faster too. This works well for buyers who want to test the market first.
Custom colors or logo work need more preparation. The MOQ may be higher because we need to prepare material, arrange production, and check samples.
For custom acetate claw clips, sampling usually takes around 5–8 days. After the sample is confirmed, mass production usually takes about 25–30 days. The exact time depends on order quantity, packaging, and factory schedule.
Peak season can also affect lead time.
Before holidays, summer sales, back-to-school season, and gift season, many buyers place orders at the same time. Production lines become busier. Packing and shipping may also take longer. If you already have a launch date, it is better to place the order earlier.
A good manufacturer should not only send you a price.
They should tell you what material they use. They should explain the difference between styles. They should be clear about MOQ, sample time, production time, packaging, and shipping.
You can also ask simple questions.
Can they make custom colors?
Can they add your logo?
Can they provide retail packaging?
Can they help with barcodes?
Can they send real product photos or samples?
The answers will show you how they work.
Good communication saves many problems later. Especially for custom orders. A small misunderstanding in color, size, or logo position can delay the whole order.
Bulk hair claw clips are not hard to sell when the style and quality are right. They are useful, lightweight, and easy to match with different outfits. Customers use them at home, at work, on vacation, after showering, or when they need a quick hairstyle.
But for wholesale buyers, the important part is choosing the right supplier.
Do not only look for the lowest price. Check the material. Test the spring. Look at the teeth. Confirm the color. Think about packaging. Leave enough time for samples and production.
As a claw clip factory, we see many orders from different types of buyers. Some want simple wholesale styles. Some want custom colors. Some want full branded packaging. Different buyers need different solutions.
A good bulk claw clip order should look nice in photos. But more importantly, it should feel good in real use. That is what makes customers come back and buy again.
